FortisBC – 2015 Wild Fires, Rock Creek, British Columbia

An abnormally dry and hot summer resulted in devastating wild fires that damaged distribution and transmission systems that are maintained and operated by FortisBC. Allteck was engaged to help restore power to more than 1,200 residents in Rock Creek BC located in the Southern Interior region of the province.

Allteck rapidly mobilized crews who replaced burnt wooden structures and repaired or replaced damaged conductors. FortisBC customers were without power for minimal amount of days due to the rapid response and efficient service delivery of Allteck’s emergency restoration crews.
