Project Status: Ongoing

Location: Various districts within British Columbia

Voltage: 4kV up to 25kV

Category: Distribution

Project Description

The Regionally Optimized Contracts (ROC), or Regionally Optimized Distribution Line Construction Work program, are multi-year unit price contracts to provide distribution overhead and underground (4-69kV) and secondary service work within designated regions throughout the Province of British Columbia. Categories of work include planned, short cycle, and time sensitive (TSS) work.

Challenges

The work takes our crews from inner-city back alleys to the most rugged B.C. terrain. Successful delivery of work under this program requires effective and efficient project management, materials management, safety, and overall coordination practices. In addition to the initial scope of work in each region, Allteck conducted a successful pilot project to deliver feeder cable work under the ROC program.

Specialized Work Methods

Allteck crews safely implement hot stick live line work methods to deliver a product to BC Hydro.
